Neuropa: Where Sound Becomes Vision
Neuropa is an immersive audiovisual performance where electronic music and live visual art converge into a single evolving experience.
Italian composer and producer Paolo F. Bragaglia presents a live electronic set that journeys through the diverse sonic landscapes of his artistic career. Blending experimental electronica, cinematic soundscapes, minimalist rhythms, and ambient textures, he creates an organic musical narrative that unfolds in real time. Working with a combination of analogue synthesizers and digital instruments, each performance is unique—an ever-changing architecture of sound that invites the audience into a hypnotic and deeply atmospheric world.
Throughout the concert, visual artist Marco Bragaglia transforms the music into a live painting performance. Responding directly to the frequencies, rhythms, and emotional contours of the sound, his artwork develops before the audience's eyes as notes become lines, textures become colours, and movement becomes form. Rather than serving as a backdrop, the visual creation becomes an equal artistic voice, engaging in a continuous dialogue with the music.
Neuropa is more than a concert—it is a meeting point between hearing and seeing, composition and improvisation, sound and image. Every gesture, every note, and every brushstroke contributes to a singular, unrepeatable performance that invites the audience to experience music not only through listening, but through vision and imagination.
