About Tallinn Fringe

18.8-18.9.2024

Tallinn Fringe Festival started out as a collective of circus, theatre, dance, music and fire performers each performing their own shows plus co-creating to produce a unique group performance during 5 action packed days in December 2016, in Telliskivi Creative City in Tallinn, Estonia. The festival was called ”Boom Chika Wau Wau”

The festival was held as a counterpoint to the theatre festival ”Winter Nights”

Fast forward to 2024 and this 7th edition features multiple venues with a multitude of international and local shows under the easier to market, Tallinn Fringe Festival umbrella.

Tallinn Fringe is not curated by the festival team or a specially designated board of culture officials.

Artists contact venues directly and then the venues provide the confirmed shows to the festival. This ensures a diverse, vibrant and colourful program for everyone, artists and audiences alike.
